J.D. Wilson: Increase Tariffs on Chinese Electronic Vehicles and Steel Immediately if CCP devalues currency for trade advantage.
Wilson stands up for Michigan industries and calls for immediate action against Chinese efforts to undermine American manufacturing and national security through currency devaluation and dumping.
Michigan businessman and candidate for U.S. Congress J.D. Wilson today called on the Biden Administration and Congress to take pre-emptive measures to protect American industries before Chinese “dumping” can damage American manufacturing and national security.
“The Chinese Communist Party must be sent a very loud and clear message. We will protect our traditional manufacturing industries as well as our new and growing ones,” said Wilson. “It is time to not only protect our current industries and high wage manufacturing jobs but we must also begin to implement a strategy to re-shore industries like pharmaceuticals back to North America. Jack Bergman should be focused on these issues but has been busy playing Washington politics for years. I will take on China and protect our working families in Michigan first.”
J.D. Wilson, a first time candidate for office, is a self-made small businessman now looking to give back to his community by running to represent Michigan’s 1st Congressional District.
“Michigan’s families need a community-minded representative in Congress, not another jet-setting politician like Jack Bergman. I will fight for our jobs, our industries and our communities. For Michigan. Congress is broken. Everybody knows it. I’m running to fix it.”
